A General Brief of some Responsibilities & Requirements: Assist the Head Chef with any duties that are requested from you. Controlling & directing food preparation processes and any other relative activities.
Monitoring and controlling stock levels and staff compliance to company standards. Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed. Ensuring all kitchen staff follow health and safety procedures & standards in the kitchen.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards. Proven experience as a Chef and ability to operate a busy kitchen shift. Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
Outstanding communication and leadership skills. Works well under pressure and keeps a cool head. Must Have: Certificates in Commercial Cookery.
Current Drivers licence and a working Car. Work rights in Australia (Visa, Residency etc.) Remunerations: An attractive hourly rate is on off for the summer season (October 2018 â€“ May 2020).
