About the Role Initiate, supervise and foster clinical research activities within the hospital. To assist the Director of Internal Medicine and Aged Care (IMAC) to organise clinical services including management of personnel and financial resources.
Preparation of advice regarding the purchase of equipment and other capital items; co-ordination of nursing and administrative staff; and the undertaking of departmental and hospital quality activities. To undertake and show an active interest in the affairs of the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Metro North Hospital and Health Services and the University of Queensland. Manage the performance appraisal and development of subordinate medical staff.
