Casual Processing worker wanted at Salisbury/Eagle Farm, $26/h Estimate start date in early Nov and potentially ends before Christmas. Preferable candidates with similar production processing working background. Candidates must have working rights in Australia.

au BASIC JOB PURPOSE The Packaging/Machine Operator sets up and operates machines and labels in a TGA/Food and Cosmetic environment, whilst adhering to the regulatory requirements set out in the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice(CGMP), internal standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and batch processing methods. 2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Operate machine and equipment including but limited to the labelling machine.

This includes conformances with the code, take in process quality checks as per batch document, monitor the Production/Packing line and reconcile batch documents. Ensure the placement of manufacturing and packaging batches to appropriate machines and operators is followed. Rotate old stock and apply FIFO principal.

Follow all GMP requirements. Estimate completion times of work, ensuring that batch documentation and equipment are available for upcoming jobs. Perform quality checks, including the checking of correct completion of batch packaging documents, line clearance and process approvals.

Ensure batch manufacturing and packaging documents and in-process and finished goods are ready for various stages of processing. Assist manufacturing operators in the setup and operation of machinery, and troubleshooting/problem solving where necessary. Liaise with supervisor to provide information relating to manufacturing and packaging.

Report any maintenance issues relating machinery, equipment and services to supervisor. Promote occupational health and safety and GMP in the manufacturing, package & warehousing area. Operate equipment (package), performing all the tasks, so as to develop experience in numerous tasks, and to ease capacity restraints as required.

Dismantle and clean equipment. Effectively train packaging operators in tasks to allow autonomous operation. Adhere to relevant requirements stated in the CGMP, internal SOP’s and policies.
