Senior Technical Professional - Completions



Job role functions as a combined BD and Technical specialist who, under broad direction, utilizes subject matter expertise and established client relationships to sell Company products and services and achieve the desired PSL strategy and business plan, maximising profitability and market penetration/share. Matches the Company's technical, commercial and operational capabilities to customer needs through developing a clear understanding of customer's business & technical issues and drivers and effective delivery of technical sales presentations and personal working relationships. Calls on assigned and non-assigned accounts to effectively promote and sell the Company's products and services.

Plays an active role in the business planning process. Job role directly creates value via personal relationships with the technical customer base. Interfaces with the technology, manufacturing, business development and marketing on strategic product development issues.

Independently provides job design, pre-job and on location technical and operational support, and post job analysis to external and internal customers in designated area. Represents the organization to resolve important questions or to negotiate critical and controversial issues with key customer engineers and officers. At this level, individuals will have demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving engineering problems in the most efficient and economical manner.

Specific duties for this role currently include: · Potential to provide in-house technical support (‘desk’ or ‘project’ engineer) for local customer/s. · Customer technical/operational focal point for all aspect of job planning, workshop build and field operations, leading customer Drill/Complete Well on Paper (DWOP/CWOP) exercises, and reviewing and incorporating global best practices into preliminary and final Design of Service. Strong preference will be given to personnel who can demonstrate competence/experience in one or more of the following areas: · Liner Hanger project engineering · Sand Control project engineering · Torque and Drag and Tubing Movement modelling · Deepwater/semi-sub operations.

· Tender response, development and review of business cases, use of CRM Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 8 years oil field service experience working with Liner Hangers and Advanced Completions with significant exposure to and detailed technical knowledge and application of Sand Control, CPS, Liner Hanger and Intelligent Completions products and services, and company-required training, including experience in business development and experience managing the work of others..
