Sales Lead

Tecside have a new permanent opportunity for an experienced Sales Lead to join a well-respected global leader within the mining and civil services industry who are listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). This role will see you manage the day to day contract execution for assigned locations/customers as well as managing the customer fulfilment centre and debtor compliance, contract delivery and requests for pricing and contract variations.

The role will also see you working with ventilation and chemical products and this position will be heavily based at mine sites there is an opportunity to work from either Mackay or Brisbane. The successful applicant will possess a minimum of 5 years' sales or business development experience within the resources sector or similar, however experience with ventilation and chemicals will also be highly regarded. Duties include but are not limited to: Assist with bid preparation, negotiation and contract finalisation for customer portfolio Develop and maintain key customer account plans and relationships for new and existing business Actively identify and communicate business development opportunities for product or service differentiation Ensure weekly supply and operational forecasting is conducted and provided to Supply Chain Manage the introduction of new products, service and technologies, including customer trials.

Ensure Cash Fixed Cost (CFC) and CAPEX controls are in place and expenditure is in line with budgets Manage customer invoicing and liaise with Finance and Customer Service teams to ensure debtor compliance to agreed terms Monitor market trends and competitor activity to contribute to marketing strategies and pass on technical knowledge to team members to ensure ongoing skill development Identify safety hazards and employ risk control techniques (using Hazchem knowledge related to injection chemicals, ventilation and secondary support materials). The successful applicant will possess the following Skills & Experience: Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, engineering or a related discipline is preferred Minimum of 5 years' commercial/sales/business development experience, preferably within the resources sector or a similar industry Demonstrated knowledge of secondary support, ventilation systems, underground mining chemical products and their application is preferred Proven financial and commercial acumen Strong negotiation and influencing skills with a proactive approach to problem solving Customer service focus with excellent interpersonal and communicati.
