Claims support officer role working with the Federal Government. Your new company The Federal Government is seeking a self-motivated claims support officer to be responsible for claims processing and support a large team, on an ongoing contract located in Melbourne CBD with an immediate start. Your new role As a Claims processor you will be responsible for: Processing claims and approvals for clients and service providers, in line with relevant legalisation and policies.
Manage and prioritise individual caseload of client reimbursements and payments. Coordinate, record and monitor correspondence flow. Process payments in accordance with relevant legislation, policy and procedures.
Articulate decisions in writing to clients and providers. Conduct basic level research and analysis. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience as a claims processor or experience will help you be successful in this role as well as show competency in the following: Data Entry or Claims Experience Strives for excellence and professionalism in every role you undertake Enjoys working collaboratively with a team and is eager in supporting them.
Works efficiently by being highly organised and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Confident in using Microsoft office applications including TRIM, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
