Senior Events Officer



Established team managing social policy events looking for experienced APS6 to manage quarterly event schedule Your new company This influential and prominent Department is seeking a proactive and highly organised APS6 Senior Events Officer to deliver a number of key co-ag and council based events. Your new role Working within a fast paced and diverse team, you will be responsible for the end to end management of all event logistics including, but not being limited to, liaising with venues, key speakers, council representatives, executives, attendees and all other providers. You will promote these events both internally and externally as well as manage enrolments, promotion and marketing, including reporting and evaluation functions.

What you'll need to succeed You will be the go-to events person, so you will be proactive in your approach to your workload, and will thrive in the fast-paced, high-pressure environment that is events. This is an extremely busy role, so you will need to have impeccable attention to detail and be able to manage multiple priorities at any one time to ensure the final result is of the highest quality. The ability to adapt to your environment, hold excellent writing and editing skills, and previous experience within a corporate events role will ensure your success and ability to communicate effectively with senior professionals.
