Client Side Project Manager
Contract opportunity for a Client Side Project Manager to work on a number of projects in the public sector Your new company The Client is a Public Sector department tasked at managing commercial construction projects carried out on their own asset portfolio. They are looking to engage an experienced Client Side Project Manager to work as part of the team. Your new role The role will involve managing a number of projects on behalf of the Asset owner.
The role will involve acting as a consultant coordinating various in-house project sponsors from the scoping and design stages through to the delivery and post-construction activities. You will be required to coordinate and oversee the preparation of project schedules, cost plans and project management plans. Additionally, a key function of this role is to ensure the building product delivered to the organisation is of a high standard.
The size of the projects will vary and range from small natural area fencing works, sports field lighting, sports field rehabilitation and urban, common and district parks. Ultimately the projects delivered must comply with OH&S and risk legislation whilst adhering to the client's scope, time, cost and quality requirements. What you'll need to succeed Candidates would need to be experienced Client Side Project Managers with experience in delivering varied projects, ideally with exposure in the aforementioned projects.
Candidates should be tertiary qualified in a construction discipline and have experience working in a similar role with consultancies or public sector construction departments. Due to the nature of the organisation, experience in stakeholder engagement and communication skills would be essential.
