Job Title: COOK Job Type: Full Time Our clients own multiple Venues in Parramatta, Southbank, Castle Hill and Darling Harbour and require the services of an experienced Cook Salary: 60,000 - 90,000 pending on experience Must know how to measure and assemble ingredients for recepies. Must have good communication skills to be able to interact successfully with all kitcken staff. Must be able to Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other Cooks to prepare meals during our prep time and operative hours.
Be able to maintain accurate food inventories. Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures as per food and safety regulations. Rotate all kitchen stock and items as per established procedures.
Be able to help restock kitchen whenever needed. Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of each shift. Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment as needed.
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) Be comfortable cooking on various utensils, grills. Show a passion and flair for food through food presentation.
Must like working in a busy and highly motivated environment. Must take initiative where needed..
