The Role: An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic person with demonstrated healthcare sales experience to generate residential and commercial stairlift sales in Sydney. Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be a proactive, self-starter who has excellent time management and territory planning capabilities. You will be responsible for prospecting and securing new customers, and introducing new products to the territory.

You will develop close relationships with NDIS care providers, Occupational Therapists, and other key influencers, who ultimately specify stairlift suppliers on behalf of end users. The role will also see you manage sales with privately funded stairlift users. Our Account Managers must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, be skilled at building productive business relationships, and have a good mechanical aptitude.

Account Managers must have knowledge of their territory and its customer base, be able to develop solid territory business plans, and be able to effectively cover their territory on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic sales and performance plan for your territory Achieve both quantitative and qualitative KPIs Generate appointments with prospective customers through cold calling and lead qualification from marketing programs and promotions Attend end users residences and complete measurement for stairlift quotation Develop valuable relationships with NDIS care providers and occupational therapists Identify client needs, provide guidance and information around our products and services with the goal of providing a high level of customer satisfaction Document all activities and customer interactions in Salesforce.com Provide accurate and timely feedback to the Technical Sales Manager on sales results.

Key Skills and Experience Has demonstrated medical sales experience - essential (experience working with occupational therapists would be highly regarded) 3 years experience in a sales, territory manager, account manager or similar role in Australia Full drivers license Holds a current Police Check, which does not preclude you from working with aged care customers Has a strong track record and drive for meeting objectives and achieving sales targets Has experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) Demonstrates excellent communication and negotiation skills Has a proven track record in professional sales and account management Has an ability to deliver engaging presentations About the company National Stairlifts is a family owned business with extensive experience in the stairlift industry.
