Senior Civil Designer / Drafter



Australia - Queensland, Fortitude Valley Job Summary AECOM’s Civil Design Team in Brisbane has an opportunity for an experienced Civil Designer / Drafter to join our close-knit group. As part of this role you will contribute to, and have the opportunity to lead, the delivery of earthworks, roadworks, water and sewerage designs and facilitate design co-ordination on multi-disciplinary projects. Working in a global organisation with industry specialists, you will have exposure to a wide range of projects, from large-scale Defence Programs, through to local government projects.

Our keen focus on enabling digital capability and the collaborative nature of our organisation will enable you to have the opportunity to not only work on local projects, but also contribute to projects across the state and across the country. In order to continue to grow and strengthen our group, your strong technical capability will be drawn upon to guide and mentor our more junior team members. Minimum Requirements 8 years’ relevant work experience; Demonstrated past experience in Design Drafting on Civil related projects; Consulting experience highly regarded; Strong technical knowledge of design and drawing presentation standards; Strong focus on quality and adheres with system process requirements.

Strong team focus, willing to support other team members. Preferred Qualifications Recognised qualification (Associate Degree, Bachelor of Engineering Technology or equivalent). Advanced AutoCAD experience; Advanced 12D experience; Navisworks experience advantageous.
