Your Success is Our Success. The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Aftermarket Sales Representative - Parts and Service.
Reporting to the Customer Support Sales Manager, the purpose of this position is to increase customers spend with Komatsu by being aware of opportunities in the customersâ€™ business and selling the applicable Komatsu Product or Service. It requires the individual to be conversant in Komatsuâ€™s range of aftermarket products and services and to actively build relationships by adhering to the principles and standards of the Customer Support Charter. A key component of this role is to maximise customer contact and create value to the customerâ€™s business through delivering alternative solutions for their fleet while gathering and reporting key information to support a proactive and team approach to sales growth.
Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify opportunities within the prescribed customer base using Komatsu information systems Conduct professional and effective meetings with customers Sell appropriate solutions from the full range of Komatsu products and service Ensure machine population and customer information is valid and continuously improved Proactively contribute to parts planning activities in the region and identify areas where stocks may need to be adjusted by updating parts planning tools Provide relevant information to other areas of the business by keeping factual and relevant notes on customer visit reports Provide all formal communications (letters, quotes, emails) to clients in line with Komatsu systems by using the Company standards and templates applicable The knowledge, skills and abilities weâ€™re looking for: Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications Knowledge or experience of Heavy Vehicle and equipment parts market is desirable Customer focused and proactive in identifying opportunities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties Pipeline management and analysis The Benefits At Komatsu we have proven career pathways into a variety of exciting fields.
