Allied Health Assistant - Coober Pedy
Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, Coober Pedy Indicative Total Remuneration: $61,383 - $66,030 (pro rata) - Temp P/T (18.75 hrs p/wk), appointment up to 30/06/2020 - AHA2 You will assist in the provision of an efficient, high quality allied health service to clients in the Eyre & Far North Region. This will involve performing a range of clerical duties, clinical support and general departmental duties to assist the Allied Health Professionals.
Working within a multidisciplinary team under the direction of the Team Leader Regional Community Health, you will assist Allied Health Clinicians with developing, implementing and evaluating programs. Carrying out a variety of assessments, programs and activities related to Allied Health professional practice, your role will include client contact, individual and group work, resource development, delegated administration work, developing service plans and maintenance of a waiting list. You may also undertake liaison with clients, families, professional staff and other home support agencies in the region.

This will be evident in your ability to carry out structured programmes with clients in an appropriate manner under the guidance of a Therapist. You must be confident to work responsibly, with limited supervision and set priorities in your daily work, and to utilise a range of intervention techniques, including basic counselling skills.
