Our head office is located in Sydney and we have approximately 20 trucks in Sydney and 3 trucks in Brisbane. We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified transport company manager to work in our busy and expanding company and manage our fleet of vehicles. This is a Full-Time opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable person.
Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain fleet of vehicles including ensuring fuel levels, sending for regular service and maintenance, purchasing transport equipment etc. Liaise with clients to advise, finalise and come to an agreement on delivery requirements by providing them with information on the rates, vehicle types, obligations etc. Handle complaints from clients, receiving orders and bookings, and managing the delivery schedule Ensuring delivery quality by storing goods properly prior and during delivery Arrange collection of goods from clients and delivery of vehicles and goods Prepare reports for business records on delivery status, operational record etc.
Coordinate arrival, departure, loading and unloading of stock on trucks Ensure staff complies with occupational health and safety regulations Qualifications/Experience At least Diploma in a relevant field or at least three (3) years relevant work experience if qualifications are not available Skills required: Attention to detail; Management Skills Ability to work under pressure; Reliable and motivated; Good team player; Communication Skills; Annual salary package: $65,000 plus superannuation You must be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia to apply..
