Our client a global business in the complementary medicine and health nutrition field is looking to recruit a regulatory affairs specialist for their newly established Australian office based in the South of Brisbane. Their portfolio of products includes skincare, haircare, food and complementary medicines. Reporting to the VP of Regulatory Affairs in the US, you will be responsible for providing regulatory support and advice for the registration of their products in Australia, China and other foreign markets.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for reviewing and approving marketing material and labeling as per TGA guidelines. You will work on multiple projects and be responsible for providing valid, accurate and well-documented evidence for product and advertising claims. The ability to build trustful relationships with internal and external partners will be key for this role as you will work closely with the quality, product development and marketing teams and will liaise with regulatory bodies.
Our client's first market is in China. Hence a background working with Chinese regulatory agencies will be highly appreciated. However, our client will provide training and coaching for the right applicant.
Another responsibility of the role will involve preparing technical agreements, SOPs and product specifications. In order to be consider for this role, you will be a mandarin speaker who holds a scientific degree and some regulatory affairs experience in the complementary medicines, FMCG or cosmetic industry. You will be a proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
