APS 6 Evaluator



This role is a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the health and safety of the Australian Public by ensuring that complementary medicines and over-the counter (OTC) medicines supplied in Australia are safe and efficacious. As an evaluator, you will use your excellent analytical skills and scientific knowledge to review and assess scientific data to prepare scientific recommendations, reports and guidelines for the registration of complementary medicines and OTC products. You will liaise, engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues.

This role will also involve providing strategic advice and technical expertise to contribute to continuous improvement and regulatory reform activities. Ideally, our client is seeking to recruit an individual with strong technical writing skills who will either have some regulatory affairs experience or a strong background in analyzing PK/PD/toxicology data or in animal studies. In order to be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and qualifications: A PhD in science toxicology, epidemiology, biology, pharmacy or any other relevant discipline.

Strong ability to review PK/PD and toxicological data and write reports Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
