Ausjobz have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an Indigenous Operations Manager to join an established and successful service provider. Our clients business is 49% owned by a large national Australian Engineering Company with a national footprint, and 51% by an Indigenous owned Labour Hire business. They have recently been audited and retained their Supply Nation Certification Status.

The business has a blue chip client base working across Civil, Defence, Construction and Building Maintenance and is set for continued and substantial growth. Key responsibilities of this position include the day to day management and profitability of the business . Working closely with stakeholders and support services inclusive of Estimating, Cost Control, HR, Finance, Project Services, Project Managers and Marketing the key accountabilities of this role include : • Managing project resources and workforce plans.

• Compliance with supply nation certification and auditing requirements. • Review of tenders & commercial proposals. • Managing & implementing new service offerings.

• Budget management. • Systems implementation – HSEQ. To be successful in this position you will ideally have: • A positive can do attitude, drive and ambition.

• Experience managing company operations. • Experience in financial and commercial management. • Proven Leadership Experience and People Management skills.

• Experience with Government Policy and the IPP. • Excellent programming and planning skills. • Be highly articulate with strong leadership and communication skills.

• Extensive project management and delivery skills, including budgeting, coordinating work priorities, cost control, stakeholder management, subcontractor management, documentation, statutory approvals, and leading project teams. • Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project. • Advanced understanding of established HSECQ systems and principles.

• White Card. • Ability to obtain a clear police check (for Defence Passes). • Driver’s License.
