Job Purpose The key responsibility of the Leisure Pricing Manager is to develop and introduce a pricing framework to Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) Leisure businesses, starting with the Flight Centre Brand (online and offline). The ultimate goal is to increase turnover both in-store and online, improve margin for retail consultants and increase customer acquisition. Accountabilities Stakeholder Management Develop strong working relationships across procurement and marketing teams Engage with IT engineers from Information Management, Integration, Enterprise Architecture, Data Modelling and Infrastructure Challenge norms and influence people with the support of data-driven insights Partner with marketing and business leaders to fully understand customer wants, needs and data Data Integrity Drive the collection, cleansing, merging and management of pricing and range data from various sources across the business and industry Perform ad hoc data extraction, manipulation and analysis for the purpose of insights and recommendations Help maintain and regularly update a pricing history database Leadership Provide leadership on innovative and visually stunning Power BI dashboards Lead, manage and supervise pricing analysts Pricing Strategy Develop pricing strategies for FCTG businesses Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness Analyse financial impact of price approach in view of overall history, as well as profitability of customer Skills and Experience Essential Experience using database tools such as Teradata, Google Cloud Platform (Cloud SQL/DataStore/BigQuery) Previous BI/Analytics experience and an understanding of BI / Analytics principles Proven track record of developing pricing strategies based on pricing theories Power BI - front-end (visualisation) and back-end (data management/general ETL) Strategic thinking - understand impact of changes in competitive landscape and customer trends ; develop and evaluate strategic options set in response to these changes Bachelor's degree (or higher) in relevant field Desirable Minimum 5 years’ experience in pricing management Good understanding of industry competitors Benefits include: Generous remuneration structure Travel discounts, in-house financial and health services, access to internal 24/7 gym Global career opportunities in a network of brands and businesses Ongoing training and professional development Fun and flexible work environment Proud Corporate Social Responsibility platform through the Flight Centre Foundation, Responsible Travel Charter, and Brighter Futures programs Monthly awards nights, conferences, industry/social events, and the opportunity to attend global balls We’re proud to have been recognised as an Employer of Choice in the Australian Business Awards 2018, in addition to Australi.
