The Performance Media Specialist role sits within the Digital Media and Optimisation team that’s responsible for the digital marketing activities and strategic direction of the Flight Centre Brand. The Specialist role will be responsible for the strategy and assistance in execution of performance media, in particular (however not limited to) Paid Search, Social Media, Video and Display across the Flight Centre Brand. They are accountable to the Performance Media Team Leader and the Brand Managers in reporting and driving ROI via the results and budget movements and management of these channels.

In addition to strategy and result responsibility, the Performance Media Specialist will be highly experienced with hands on knowledge in optimizing campaigns and the ability to manipulate data and analytics into tangible insights. They are then able to clearly present these insights to the relevant stakeholders, set KPIs and then turn these into actions which produce the desired results. They are responsible for helping to keep up to date and establish best practice frameworks if they currently do not exist for a Performance channel, and ensuring that existing activity is working within these best practice frameworks.

They are expected to proactively work closely with the SEO, Digital Marketing, Digital Experience, Analytics and brand teams to ensure that landing pages for the performance activity are continuously optimised to improve efficiency. They are also responsible for key media partnerships WIPs, ensuring that they are kept productive and that Flight Centre is at the forefront of relevant betas and projects available. The Performance Media Specialist has a high attention to detail and is expected to strive for creativity and a point of difference in their work which will showcase Flight Centre Travel Group as a leader within the industry.

The Performance Media Specialist works closely with the Performance Executive(s) and Performance Coordinator(s) to brief and delegate tasks where required. Assistance with implementation may sometimes be required. The Performance Specialist is expected to stay across digital industry developments and publisher updates and are encouraged to proactively implement these where feasible and share their knowledge with the wider Flight Centre group to ensure standards across the group are maintained.

Role Requirements: Marketing or related degree/qualification (Mandatory) Minimum of 4 years’ in Performance Media.
