The Role Develop and manage strategic alliances in select accounts to maximise the long-term profitability of Amgen brands. Maintain optimal access and engagement with relevant Key Account Executives, proactively providing strategic solutions by delivering a compelling customer value proposition and utilising systematic and coordinated processes. You will be joining an established, experienced and innovative account management team with a clear track record of customer value creation and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities across the following areas include: Strategic Account Management: Achieve strategic objectives and sales expectations by developing and driving optimal commercial recommendations. Utilise Cluster Team Management (CTM) cross functional processes to develop and deliver strategic account plans and tactics. Update, implement and track account plans for all nominated accounts.
Utilise agreed supporting tools, processes and guidance: brand strategy, account segmentation, approved pricing policy, profitability analysis, value-based contracting principles, tendering excellence process, cluster team management process, etc. to achieve strategic objectives. Develop and foster relationships with pharmacy, purchasing organizations and other nominated stakeholders in designated strategic accounts.
Focus on public and private hospitals/groups, compounding services, pharmacy service providers, private insurance and others as required. Investigate selected accounts for long term partnership opportunities, coordinate strategic objectives and tactical plans to capitalise on development of alliances. Brand Team Participation Facilitate Access Leadership as a member of selected brand teams, participating fully in all brand team activities, focusing broadly on all aspects of brand success.
Provide account, market and competitor intelligence to inform brand strategy, account segmentation, commercial operating plan and direct operating expense decisions for the brand.
