TECHNICAL SUPPORT- ALARMS, CCTV AND SECURITY SYSTEMS
About Our Client Our client is a Australia's leading suppliers of specialist security products. They are currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide assistance over the phone to field installation and troubleshooting technicians. About the Role Provide technical expertise for security products, including IP Networks, CCTV, DVRs, Cameras and Wi-Fi solution.
Solve technical problems and communicating with people over the phone (primarily) and by email (sometimes) Assisting customers with technical and other queries including in response to campaigns, faults and where necessary liaise and direct such enquiries to technical support. Troubleshoot HW/SW issues, IP network dilemmas and assisting our sales team in supporting our customers. Give pre-sale consultations and post-sales advice on both IP and Analogue technologies Setup systems in-house to simulate and troubleshoot problems in-field Assist in the evaluation process for new security products Assisting in the warehouse from time to time as the need arises.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Understanding of CCTV and Security Technologies (highly desirable) Experience with Dahua, Bosch, Aiphone, Kantech systems is highly desirable but not mandatory Excellent verbal and written communication skills Outstanding phone etiquette A strong interest in new technology and development A high level of customer service An enthusiasm to learn and grow with the business The ability to build relationships with people Industry experience dealing with security products involving IP technologies - would be beneficial but is not essential On Offer This is a permanent opportunity to work in a fast paced environment.
