APS5 Executive Assistant
About the Organisation: Large Federal Government Department who are involved in many high profile projects and work closely with commercial and environmental organisations. About the role: Supporting the General Manager and Executive Director of the Branch, you will be responsible for diary management; registering and tracking incoming and outgoing correspondence; screening inquiries; maintaining record systems, office equipment and stationery requirements; maintaining and updating telephone and email contact lists; financial management including the purchase of supplies, payment of accounts, acquittal of credit cards, expenditure recording and arranging and acquitting domestic and international travel as required. As a central point of contact in the Unit, you will need to be client-focussed, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise.
This role also requires strong computer and administrative skills and active participation in the Department's Executive Assistant Network. Skills and experience: A minimum baseline security clearance is required for this position. Previous APS EA experience is highly regarded, at either the APS4 or 5 level.
