We are looking to add to our pool of Melbourne, Perth and Sydney casual chefs to help us facilitate our unique and inspiring corporate engagement program, Cooking for a Cause. This is an exciting role best suited to chefs with a passion for sharing their knowledge and skills, while also educating people in the prevention of food waste. The chef is responsible for leading corporate participants through a hands-on cooking class, using rescued produce to create nutritious meals that are then delivered to people in need.
All classes are run in our professional kitchens and occasionally in pop-up spaces. The chef must be able to relate with people from diverse backgrounds (especially corporates and volunteers), comfortable addressing a group and have the ability to oversee, and support volunteers and additional chefs who are also involved in the program. Ideal candidates for the role will have at least 5 years' experience cooking in restaurants or as a culinary instructor.
They will be able to run cooking sessions, improvise recipes and produce high quality food. Please note that you must have a Police Check and Working With Children Check for this role. Please send your resume to Travis Harvey using the apply button.
