The Grange Road Egg Shop has been freshly renovated and we're looking for a Superstar Cafe Manager to join the team and we're prepared to pay for the best is that you? You will be in charge of running the day to day operations of the venue including front of house service and kitchen operations and to manage all reservation and function enquiries. You will be the key liaison for our chefs and kitchen team in respect of menu planning and event management and will be the contact point for customer feedback and facilitating internal operational improvement.We are looking for someone with relevant qualifications (Diploma or higher) or with at least at a minimum 3-5 years solid management experience in a high-pressure and high-performance cafe/restaurant environment, some specialty coffee knowledge, the desire to inspire and lead a team and who has a genuine passion for providing outstanding service to our great customers.

The ideal candidate will be able to motivate and lead our team and will need to be able to: Act as constant role model for our team and showcase your professional industry skills in a friendly and genuine manner Ensure the daily service is run to a high standard consistently and efficiently Manage stock control and inventory in accordance with budgets and managing and advising on necessary adjustments as required Manage staffing and wage costs (prepare rosters, assign specific duties) Liaise with chefs and kitchen team in regards to customer preferences, menu planning and catering requirements for events management Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures Manage staff performance, provide constructive feedback as required, identify weaknesses and provide training as appropriate Identify and determine areas for cost reduction and improvement Implement initiatives for organising events and functions and manage specific event/function enquiries from patrons Encourage a supportive, positive and fun workplace for all employees Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of both Food Safety and OH&S requirements Develop new and exciting beverage offerings Work collaboratively with other personnel within the business and assist in recruitment for new front-of-house employees Serve alcohol (RSA required) Salary rage: $80,000.
