Multinational organisation Industry leader in water and wastewater products manufacturing Competitive salary and benefits package An opportunity has been created for a driven Chemical Process Engineer to join a global leader in the manufacture of products in the water and wastewater industries. The successful candidate in this role will have a passion for process improvement, and demonstrated capability in this field. Key Responsibilities: Routine monitoring of the extrusion process, with a focus on quality, waste, raw material & energy consumption and output Assist in the development of manufacturing procedures & methods to increase the level of systemisation through the process Monitoring and Reporting the direct membrane impacts to the process specifically related to waste, downtime and quality of final product Identify improvement opportunities in the process then work with the Capital Project team to deliver Work with the other Process Engineers to benchmark between the different stages of the production process looking for common areas of development and improvement Assist in product development trials on the membrane technologies (working directly with the Production Manager) Experience and Qualifications: Chemical engineering degree level qualification 4-7 years’ experience in the context of continuous improvement High level of written & verbal communication skills; shop floor to site management Data rational high level of data analysis skills Hands-on; not afraid of getting dirty to troubleshoot and problem solve The ability to cope with changing/conflicting priorities Flexibility to rotate between sites & business groups.
