Café All-Rounder



Our Client Floor Team As a Firm, we recognise that the provision of first class legal services requires a talented and supportive team. At the very front line of this is our Sydney Client Floor Team which caters for a wide variety of client and staff events ranging from coffee catch ups, sandwich lunches, buffets, and fine dining events. To support their efforts, the Client Floor team has a full café set up, with state of the art café equipment.

The objectives of the café all-rounder is to consistently provide the highest level of customer service to our staff who frequent the café. We are currently looking for an experienced all -rounder with a real passion for coffee, food and customer service to join our team. This is a casual role, working approximately 20 hours a week, with opportunity for more hours during leave replacement.

Your role Reporting to the Head Barista, you will take a 'hands on' involvement with all tasks and responsibilities including: Taking and preparing food orders (including toast) Assisting baristas in making coffee, if required Ensure the café area and tables are neat and clean at all times Assist in unpacking and shelving and rotating deliveries Adhere to all firm policies and procedures, such as confidentiality and WH&S Participate in staff meetings to discuss areas of activity, concern and general feedback Ensure that additional food and beverage requests are passed to the Head Barista Other duties as directed by Head Barista / Client Floor Team Leader You will be required to work between the hours of 8.00 am to 2:00 pm Monday to Friday. What you need Ideally, you will have previous all –rounder experience in a corporate or high volume environment.

You will need to have a passion for customer service. In addition, you will need to possess the following skills and attributes: Ability to work 20 hours per week Previous experience working in a café A cheerful and outgoing personality Initiative and a proactive approach Impeccable personal presentation is a must A driven and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to teamwork; The capacity to multi task, prioritise and work under pressure.
