Principal Hydraulics Engineer



Australia - Victoria, Melbourne Job Summary AECOM have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Hydraulics Engineer to join our building services team. The role is ideal for senior engineers with strong technical backgrounds who are looking for the next step in their career and have an interest in developing detailed design solutions and being responsible for the delivery of a range of exciting building services projects. The projects span a diverse range of the construction sector including Defence, High-Reliability Data Centres, Commercial, Residential, High Rise Buildings/ towers, Retail and Health.

You will work closely with Senior Engineers within the hydraulics team to develop your hydraulic services skill and knowledge base. Working within a team of Hydraulic Services Engineers Successful project and client management Maintaining existing relationships and building new networks Provide training and support to professional and graduate level staff Delivery and management of all phases of the required consultancy services project delivery, this includes concept design, schematic design, tender and construction documentation, construction phase and commissioning phase Minimum Requirements Appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent trade based experience in hydraulics 8 - 15 years relevant experience Previous experience working in a consulting and contracting environment Proficient in Bluebeam and Hyena Experience in the detailed design and documentation of all Hydraulic Service Systems in accordance with both local and international codes and standards Competent in the use of design drafting program Revit and Bluebeam Preferred Qualifications .
