Australia - Western Australia, Perth Job Summary Following a recent increase in our long term project pipeline and with a view to future growth, our Civil Infrastructure team is looking for an experienced Professional- to Senior-Level Pavement/Geotechnical Engineer with design consulting experience to work within our Ground Engineering and Pavement Design Team in Perth. This role provides an exciting opportunity for involvement in a range of large geotechnical projects, for a wide range of clients including water, power, state government advisory, mining, and municipal infrastructure. This role will see you supporting internal and external clients across a broad range of engineering areas, namely transportation infrastructure including bridges and embankments, general earthworks and pavements, foundations to structures, maritime piling, dredging and slope stabilisation.
As well as working within a global, multi-disciplinary organisation, this opportunity will allow you to assist with building our growing team, offering services in the region, across Australia, and internationally. The successful candidate will be technically skilled, while also adept at communication and interested in mentoring younger engineers. Minimum Requirements 7-10 years' demonstrated geotechnical experience; Experience in site investigation favourable; Experience in construction supervision favourable; Interest or experience in pavement design; Experience working in a design consulting environment with demonstrated ability to collaborate with clients, internal team members, multi-disciplinary teams and field personnel; Demonstrated high proficiency in use of MS Office Packages Demonstrated experience in pavement/geotechnical engineering software (gINT, slope stability and seepage, Plaxis CIRCLY) desirable.
Able to self-direct and work independently, but also to lead and mentor younger engineers Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, focus on Geotechnical preferred Membership of a relevant professional institution.
