Currently we have significant (Perm) Enterprise / Solution Architecture leadership opportunity based in the Melb CBD. As the Lead Architect you will hold the most senior role under the group chief architect (2IC).

This role will have 60% project focus as this Org is updating every core system they have in place. 40% of time will be spent creating content & material to include roadmaps and reference models. This role will target an all-rounder, a seasoned architect that can bridge the gap between solution architecture and enterprise architecture.

60% of time will be spent doing solution Architecture and 40% spent doing Enterprise Architecture. This role will target an applications background having then moved into Enterprise / Solution Architecture. You will require both Enterprise Architecture & Solution Architecture Leadership experience.

You will be able to display strong Architecture Governance, Application / Integration Architecture SOA, Digital, Agile, MDM, Cloud and API Management experience. Websphere Commerce and Message Broker experience is desirable. We are not seeking a specialist, rather a generalist Architecture leader.

Retail Industry experience is highly desirable. Also having worked across multiple industries such as banking, telco or utilities (would be ideal). Recent Cloud implementation experience will be required (AWS, Azure etc).

You will need to be versatile, a progressive thinker and an excellent communicator that can sell and influence. You will require exceptinal presntation skills at board & EGM level. This role will target a progressive thinker, someone that can challenge the status quo, able to ask the silly questions.
