Hand Therapist Grade 2
ABOUT THE ROLE: â€¢This is a great opportunity to join the hand therapy team at Werribee Mercy Hospital. We are seeking an experienced Grade 2 hand therapist for a 12 month maternity leave position â€“ 0.4 EFT/15.
2 hours per week, from 10 July 2017- 6 July 2018. â€¢Additional hours will be available during periods of leave cover within the hand therapy service. â€¢Located within Werribee Mercy Hospital.
â€¢Provides hand therapy assessment and intervention within an outpatient service. â€¢Provides hand therapy services to clients with a variety of diagnoses, including closed trauma, chronic conditions, and post operative care. â€¢Supervised and supported by the grade 3 Hand therapist.
â€¢Providing support for the supervision of Grade 1 hand therapist and students is also a feature of this role. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE: â€¢Demonstrated experience in managing a variety of hand injuries and conditions . â€¢Excellent time management and communication skills. â€¢Ability to adopt a team approach to patient care.
