Administration Assistant - Casual HS1A A position is currently available for a suitably qualified Administration Assistant to work at the Wimmera Health Care Group. The successful applicant will be available to work at short notice, cover holiday leave in week blocks and be willing to learn in all clerical roles in all departments. The primary purpose of this position is to cover all leave in the administration areas of WHCG by performing administrative duties to facilitate the smooth running of office operations.
This includes proven experience of office software programs, taking minutes, typing agendas and assisting in all clerical roles. This position, amongst others, is responsible for promoting Wimmera Health Care Group as a quality regional health service provider which requires excellent customer relations skills with patients, visitors, and other hospital staff. Essential: Ability/initiative to work unsupervised and to prioritise tasks.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to touch type. Proven experience with agenda and minute taking Experience in office software programs, including Outlook Time Management Pleasant and courteous manner.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. Polite telephone manner. Ability to work in a team environment.
Satisfactory Police Check and Working With Children Check. Desirable: Experience with accounting systems and processes. Qualifications in Business Administration.
Completion of an approved medical terminology training course. Experience working with switchboards. Experience with cash handling, EFTPOS.
