au/ Position Summary AOD service sector planning, support and capacity building, including to promote and support a consistent approach to managing AOD-related presentations at Frankston Hospital ED, and collaboration with AOD treatment providers to improve responsiveness to AOD related client and community need. Key Responsibilities • Build capacity of Frankston Hospital Emergency Department to respond to the underlying alcohol and other drug issues related to the primary presentation. • Identify current and projected service gaps and pressures • Develop cohesive strategies to improve responsiveness to AOD related community needs.

Essential Criteria • Tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline, population / public health, health planning, and / or research and evaluation • Relevant qualifications and/or specialist qualification in alcohol and other drugs or addiction at the Certificate IV level or higher • Developing and maintaining consultation structures to support coordinated planning and decision-making • Developing and maintaining strategic alliances with key people to maximise personal and organisation effectiveness • Implementing appropriate continuous improvement processes to ensure ongoing effectiveness of work • Developing and implementing strategies to promote effectiveness of work • Researching and establishing strategies to develop and maintain quality performance • Developing, negotiating, promoting performance standards and requirements and use to guide organisation and practitioner work delivery • Negotiating implementation of changes to practices, policies and procedures and promoting organisationally to gain support How to apply To apply for this position via Seek, please click on 'Apply for this Position' which will re-direct you to our careers page.
