This position will work with very limited supervision and involve applying practical skills and experience in assisting people with daily living skills, employment preparation and experience, community inclusion and participation activities. Work is undertaken in the context of supporting people with a disability to maintain their well-being, explore opportunities and work towards agreed outcomes that are important to, and for, the person. Key Responsibilities for this position include: Supporting people with a disability and their family/carers in achieving life learning, recreation, employment and educational goals and aspirations Provide travel training support, transport, on the job support and other support as required.
The successful applicant will have: First Aid Qualification NSW Driver's Licence It is also highly desirable that the applicant has: Experience in working in the disability sector Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and support people with a disability, work readiness, employment skills and basic living skills For more information about this role, a copy of the job description is available here . This position is fulltime working 76 hours per fortnight. It will be working within the Pathways to Employment program Monday to Friday.
