About the role Reporting to a Regional Practice Manager (RPM) a Dental Centre Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that their designated Dental Centre operates efficiently and productively.

This will be achieved through effective workforce planning, management of the patient appointment books and serve as an escalation point within their dental centre for employment and patient matters. There may be more than one Dental Centre Coordinator in a dental centre will work collaboratively towards their shared responsibilities. The responsibilities of a Dental Centre Coordinator is designed to keep a dental centre operational by ensuring agreed customer service levels, financial and operational targets as agreed with their RPM are achieved.

In addition, the Dental Centre Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of the support staff within their DC, proactively coordinating the dental centre workforce planning to ensure efficient rostering including leave management. Where required, Dental Centre Coordinators may be allocated to another dental centre within their region and will provide support to all areas of support staff responsibilities, including but not limited to, Reception, Dental Assistant and SSU. HCF Dental Centres are focused on our members, and in order for us to accommodate our members’ needs our business operations hours are expanding.

We are ideally looking for candidates who can work in a rostered environment with occasional Thursday night or Saturday work. To be successful in this role you have the following attributes: Experience or ability to run the day-to-day operations of a DC Experience as a DA, reception or as an administrator in a Dental environment Clear experience or ability to manage a DC in order to drive and improve customer service outcomes Demonstrated leadership skills Demonstrated achievement of service performance and accountability Demonstrated understanding of occupational health and safety requirements within a Dentistry environment Highly customer centric Confident, positive and resilient leader Benefits & culture 35% subsidy on HCF Private Health Insurance Training & develop.
