Senior Business Analyst - Broadcast Systems / Business Process Re-engineering
Business Process Re-engineering Broadcast Systems Desirable 12 month fixed term contract My client, one of the largest media and broadcasting organisations nationally, seeks a Senior Business Analyst with the ability to lead projects, manage vendor relationships and effectively implement business process re-engineering with IT and other senior executive level stakeholders. Reporting to the BA Practice Manager, your key focus will be to deliver business solutions involving scheduling, content management, big data, and reporting. Key Responsibilities Develop business analysis models covering processes, actors, objects and their interactions Define business requirements, data models, and facilitate workshops Stakeholder engagement - focus on proactive relationship management with senior Executives Develop and manage user stories, and work collaboratively with QA and support teams Skills Required Several years' experience as a senior Business Analyst, including mentoring other Business Analysts Tertiary qualifications in a relevant degree Sound knowledge of Agile, SDLC and IT technologies Extensive ability to develop and communicate business cases, user cases and user stories Broadcasting or Media experience highly preferred Demonstrated experience in business modelling, requirement elicitation, data modelling and legacy system analysis Technically competent with software/solutions and able to learn and understand new systems quickly Experience with systems integration, including how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other Understanding of internet, intranet, extranet and application architectures Jira and Confluence experience desirable Exposure to SAS, Tableau or similar BI tool preferred In return, you will be joining a leading Australian brand, where you will be leading BA activities in major projects and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Business Analyst team.
