Full Time Opportunity (Part Time options available) Brooklyn Location Be part of an established brand with real career progression opportunities The Role An exciting opportunity is now available for a Maintenance Planner to join our busy and progressive team in Melbourne's west. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this integral role is responsible for the planning, scheduling and distributing maintenance work across a large water network. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Review and screening of work requests / work orders, confirmation of job scope / requirements (including safety hazards), and determination of required level of planning for assigned area/s of responsibility.

Determination and updates to the estimates for resource type, resource hours, materials, and Work Order duration in collaboration with the task requestor. Coordinating with relevant Operations groups, Sub-Contractors, Supervisors and Stakeholders to prioritize preventative or planned civil maintenance activities across the water network Ensure completion, submission, and approval of Permits in a timely manner when required for planned work. Owner of the Maintenance Schedule (Yearly Works Program) Ensure 100% KPI targets are achieved Maintain alignment and working relationships with other planners to ensure multi-discipline tasks are achieved in an efficient manner Analyses performance data and develops maintenance strategies where applicable Identifies hazards in the workplace and implement corrective actions.

Carries out periodic work site reviews, demonstrating and leading Programmed's zero harm approach towards all related workplace tasks. Identify growth opportunities in the market. To be successful for this role, you will have: Minimum formal trade or engineering qualification or extensive experience in the water industry (Civil / Engineering).

Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and maintenance works management in a civil working environment Effective knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems preferably Focus 3 or Maximo. Experience within the water industry is ideal but will consider those with experience in utilities/infrastructure / O&G Intermediate skills in Microsoft suite. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong focus on safety in the work place. The ability to work in a fast pace team orientated environment. Good time management skills Experience managing sub-contractors within a Water and Waste Water network Experience with Asbestos management, CSE, WorkSafe civil regulations, Incident management Ability to work and build relationships with the client, workforce/subcontractors and contract team members This role offers challenge, diversity and the opportunity to grow your career further.
