Senior Project Engineer

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Project Engineers to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The responsibilities and duties of the role include, but are not limited to: Providing project team and project stakeholders with direction and feedback in regard to project designs and engineering queries; Reviewing site reports prepared by project personnel and identifying corrective action where required; Proactively managing the project to achieve quality, schedules, budgets and safety. Utilize and maintain tools: schedules and document management to track and record project performance; Maintaining and procuring customer relations and attending and conduct project meetings; Procurement of work through visit existing and potential customers to promote company services; The preparation of routine internal and external project reports; Managing the procurement of materials and the management of subcontractors together with the Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes; Preparing and maintaining project quality assurance documentation and project handover documents; Informing management of productivity, costs, quality control, document management and processing of applications for payment identifying corrective actions required to rectify these issues; Notifying management of any issues that arise which affect quality, budget, progress and safety and identifying corrective actions required to rectify these issues; Compliance with any and all statutory, regulatory, governance and legislative requirements without exception.
Previous experience in a similar role within experience in civil construction and mining industries is essential, other prerequisites include: Degree Qualified Civil Engineer or Mechanical 2 years of experience in a similar role Strong project cost management skills Excellent communication and problem solving skills Proven track record of delivering high quality work outputs Strong PC & MS Office skills High level of attention to detail Current C class drivers licence If you meet the above criteria and are looking for a new career opportunities we are looking forward to be hearing from you.
