Site Manager required for a range of major refurbishment and new build projects in association with the UNSW The Company: Our client is an award-winning construction business covering new build and refurbishment projects across-Education, Aged Care, Retail, Residential and Hospitality sectors. They have been operational for over 15 years and are seasoned MBA award winners with a great team structure and experienced construction professionals developing prestigious developments. With long-standing repeat business clients in a range of areas we are now looking for an experienced Site Manager who has successfully managed refurbishment projects above $5m in the education sectors.
The Role: Oversee all site safety and ensure staff and contractors comply to HSE standards Supervise the construction process through to final handover. Interpret drawings and specifications for the project Evaluate appropriate construction delivery systems ensuring cost effective options and schedules for completing the project Sourcing of labor for relevant sites Assist in the preparation of cost schedules for project variations and ensuring the project is tracking on budget The Person: Tertiary qualification and at least 5-8 years' experience working in the construction industry Experience of managing new build and refurbishment projects in the Education Sector above $5m Proficient in Microsoft outlook, Word, Excel, Project and Build soft Experience using CHEOPS or similar Construction Safety Induction (White Card) Proven knowledge of subcontract tendering, standards and procedures Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively Highly developed planning and negotiation skills Demonstrated experience in training and coaching of personnel Please send your CV and covering letter to joecranfieldgroup.com.
