Regional Sales Manager
Regional Sales Manager â€“ Australia & New Zealand Location: Home office in Australia The incumbent will be responsible for the development, growth and performance of all sales activities in AS/NZ. They are self-starting and will need to be both a hunter and a farmer; building the business network personally and then work towards managing Channel Partners and high-level, large entity relationships. The incumbent will also manage Sales by providing Sales leadership in line with Companyâ€™s vision and values.
In addition, they will establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the market area and contribute to the development of technical training and specification/standard educational programs for clients and Channel Partners. REQUIRED Qualifications and Skills: (Must have) Engineering Degree with a minimum of 5 yearsâ€™ experience in sales. Alternative qualification and experience sets will be considered. Sales management experience.
Experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand specifications, both from a technical and commercial perspective. Candidate should be fluent in English and have excellent working knowledge of MS Office [Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint]. REQUIRED Experience: Relevant Industry experience and expertise within a Clean Water environment, ideally with a background in the Clean Water sector and experience and a solid track record of selling Valve & Technology products into the Clean Water sector Those with experience in Clean Water sector are preferred.
Experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand specifications, both from a technical and commercial perspective. Good understanding of Australian and New Zealand Customers, Markets and requirements. Knowledge of the Pacific Islands is an advantage.
