Seeking an experienced DON/Facility Manager, to oversee a medium facility, Bayside, Melbourne Vic. The Organisation: This multi site company is an award winning, leading Aged Care provider in Victoria, committed to changing the face of Aged Care. The Role: This senior management role offers an opportunity for an experienced Director of Nursing or Facility Manager to oversee the operations, Quality and Compliance, Governance of a medium size Aged Care facility. Your proven experience and passion for Aged Care will see you effectively lead and coordinate a team of nursing professionals, in maintaining this fully accredited facility. You will possess a sound knowledge of ACFI, the accreditation standards, evaluation systems, policies & procedures to ensure compliance and performance benchmarks and budgets are adhered to.

Requirements: Be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration Previous experience in Aged Care Management – 5 years Tertiary qualifications in Gerontology and/or Business Management Proven experience of team leadership Demonstrated understanding of quality management systems Confident and competent in managing own responsibilities & priorities as well as the team Possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills Demonstrated ability to manage financial budget and ensure overall profit result is achieved Have a thorough understanding of the Aged Care Funding Instrument ( ACFI ) as well as Age Care Accreditation & Legislation policies Experience in staff recruitment, rostering and performance management Demonstrated high level of computer literacy such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Aged Care programs.
