IT Field Engineer

Our client is a Sydney and Melbourne based managed and outsourced IT services business. They are looking for a Systems Consultant/ IT Field Technician to join their vibrant team. The position will be based at various clients in and around Sydney.

You’ll be working alongside like-minded tech professionals, with plenty of scope to learn and develop within the role. Responsibilities: Working face-to-face with clients, supporting small to corporate sized business that come from many different business sectors Monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks for external clients, responsible for responding to user problems and requests, and carry out desktop repairs and fixes Troubleshoot any Network Connectivity issues Ensure all sights achieve an overall monthly health check score of 90% with-in 3 months of on-boarding with the company Logging all incidents via an automated ticketing system Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the company Skills and Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT level 1-3 support focused role An advanced understanding of IT and IT terminology, including all Windows Servers, Windows Desktop, Exchange and AD Drivers licence, successful candidates for this position will be given a $6,000 car allowance per year Possess a willingness to learn and co-operate as part of a team Have confidence working in a busy often hectic environment Excellent and friendly customer service skills, with experience dealing with customer queries and knowing when to escalate a more senior member of the team Attention to detail A logical and pro-active approach to problem solving Good communication, literacy and organisational skills Punctual and willing to be flexible with your working arrangements.
