Coach and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and induction. Lead employees to meet the company's expectations for productivity and goal accomplishment. Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessary.
Maintain employee work direction including base rostering, training, annual leave, time in lieu, cover for absenteeism, and overtime scheduling. Create a culture of teamwork among team members that allows for ideas and suggestions, supportiveness, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the store to succeed Oversee all dispensary operations, including pharmacy only medicines Ensure every customer receives exceptional service that achieves the best possible health outcome. Ensure the store is presented to high standards with regard to merchandising, safety, cleanliness and feel.
Effectively engage all areas of business management to maximise profitability whilst maintaining legal, ethical and moral responsibilities. Strive to increase revenue and achieve business growth and development through strategies that focus on increasing customer spend, build loyalty and therefore secure repeat business, increase traffic to the store, etc. Demonstrated experience in understanding, driving & reporting retail pharmacy KPIs Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a large and diverse team Demonstrated commitment to customer focus & continuous quality improvement Demonstrated communication, organisational & interpersonal skills Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent AHPRA Registration.
