It is a fully integrated team working across the range of internal and external communications including traditional media, digital, social, employee, design and broader stakeholder engagement. About the role This role requires a highly skilled and experienced communications and campaign manager who will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of a research-informed NSW Mathematics Strategy Cultural Change Communications Plan, including the preparation of all associated communication materials, and the coordination of high-profile events to promote the power of mathematics with the support of ambassadors .
The role will also be responsible for achieving a coordinated approach to communications and engagement planning and implementation for the suite of Mathematics Strategy projects. Key accountabilities Manage, design, develop and implement of integrated and strategic communication strategies that support the delivery of the NSW Mathematics Strategy and key departmental initiatives and events. Assist portfolios working as part of a multi-disciplined team to develop solutions that meet their communication requirements, with a particular focus on supporting staff and projects relating to the NSW Mathematics Strategy.
Use research and analytics to support the development of more effective communication plans and better use of existing communication channels, in consultation with internal and external stakeholders. Create quality content such as fact sheets, reports, speeches, and content for use on the departmentâ€™s digital platforms. Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, helping them to maintain a proactive approach to the NSW Mathematics Strategy.
Provide timely, expert advice to the Director, Strategic Communication, on communication-related matters to support informed decision making.
