â€¢ Great opportunity to build on your career with Transport for NSW â€¢ Transport Service Grade 8 ($115,137 - $128,952), plus employerâ€™s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading â€¢ Temporary Full Time Opportunity (up to 12 months) â€¢ Located in Chippendale, next to Central Station The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Corporate Communications Officer to be a part of our Public Affairs & Engagement team within Transport for NSW. This role plays a key part in engaging both our employees and the public on a range of strategic priorities and campaigns. Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager (Content and Channels), you will lead the development and implementation of corporate communication plans, content and materials that drive engagement, influence behaviours and future ways of working with the Transport cluster.
You will work with a variety of stakeholders to provide communications advice and develop engaging, consistent and timely messaging and content across a range of internal and external communications channels like intranet, events, videos, employee magazine (print and digital), website and LinkedIn. You will ensure messages reach the relevant audiences, continually evaluating the effectiveness of communications and making recommendations for improvement. We are looking for an experienced and collaborative team player with a passion for all things communication and employee engagement.

Essential requirements Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience in developing communication plans and content and leading execution of corporate communication plans, preferably within a customer focused environment.
