Senior Lead Manager - Client Services Team

Currently an exciting and highly rewarding permanent opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced and capable Senior Manager (Client Services) to lead a loyal and dedicated Client/Members Services Team consisting of approx 10 staff. The primary purposes of this role include to: Lead, mentor and manage the member service team’s delivery of a high-quality member and employer services program to deliver retention and growth in membership. Develop strategic and trusting relationships with senior decision makers at medium to large firms The responsibilities of this role include: Direct management of approx 10 direct reports (a very stable team of Client Services Managers) Interact with other members of the Management Team, including the Operations Team and managing all administration and insurance escalations.

Formulate and implement high quality member services initiatives and programs Formulate annual member and employer service plan objectives/targets for all direct reports which support the achievement of the Business Plan strategies Manage and mentor the work of all direct reports. Provide constructive feedback, foster a collegiate team ethos, a strong commitment to quality member and employer service and encourage an outcome-focused work approach Conducting one-on-one member meetings with higher balance members Provision of general and personal superannuation advice Formulate and oversee conduct of periodic service visits by the Northern Region member services team to employers and regional areas Attend networking events or functions to connect with key decision-makers (e.g.

sponsorship, stakeholder events) Contribute and oversee the development and delivery of timely, relevant and targeted communication initiatives to members and employers Ongoing professional development including updates on compliance and regulatory matters that directly or indirectly influence their work. Key competencies required: Extensive leadership within superannuation and/or financial services advice experience (mandatory) Proven experience in building and leading client service teams within the financial planning or superannuation sector (mandatory) Outstanding relationship building and business development capabilities. Capacity to periodically travel interstate.

Qualifications & experience: Must be RG146 compliant with relevant financial planning qualifications (e.g. Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning, TASA compliant) and willing to undertake any additional training requirements as required under FASEA.

Degree and/or other relevant post-graduate qualification(s) would be highly regarded. Significant knowledge and experience of superannuation and /or financial services more broadly. Corporate.
