Facilities Maintenance Coordinator
I am seeking an enthusiastic Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for a short term contracting assignment. This fantastic opportunity joins a busy, dedicated team within the rail industry and is based in West Melbourne. About you: I am looking for a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Coordinator with experience assessing, planning and coordinating the maintenance of both building and electrical based assets.
In addition, this position also supports the on-going administration of contracts, including contracts drafting and auditing of contract performance. Responsibilities include: Plan and coordinate building asset maintenance activities at specified locations (including car parks) Develop contract documentation Supervise and manage maintenance contracts and various contractors Develop and maintain the building and facilities condition register Assist with the development of building maintenance budgets and project costings Assist in the development of electrical safety strategies for the organisation Skills and experience required for this role; Proven experience working within Facilities Maintenance or Coordination/Administration based roles Experience within building services and asset maintenance functions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexible, adaptable working style Positive and proactive attitude Strong attention to detail with solid problem solving skills Ability to work well within a small to medium team environment Solid systems/software experience including MS Office Benefits: Fantastic short term Facilities Coordination role Gain the opportunity to join a passionate, supportive team within a progressive government organisation Located on the outskirts of Melbourne CBD, close to public transport If you are an experienced Facilities Coordinator, available immediately and currently based in Melbourne - I want to hear from you.
