Careers Counsellor - Tertiary Education Provider
The Position is Responsible for: - The development, coordination and delivery of career development services across the university. - The delivery of face-to-face and self-help career services targeting the career readiness of students and career services, including vocational assessments and individual career case management services to support student career management. - Providing up-to-date and targeted employability reports and advice to faculties and other business units in the University.
The Duties: - Implement a careers services delivery model university wide to build a culture of quality career development practices. - Develop procedures for frontline and self-help and individual case-managed services, and service delivery to meet the growth of online students and to meet client career readiness. - Plan and coordinate career interventions to meet the career development needs of diverse client groups, university wide.
- Prepare targeted employability services for a range of diversity groups. - In consultation with the Manager, Career Development Services identify barriers to career development, plan and implement appropriate strategies to improve student learning and refer as appropriate. - Manage relationships effectively and productively across the spectrum of careers services stakeholders.
