About the company: Essential Queensland (EQ) is an exciting new pine chemical extraction business. EQ is a company that aims to produce natural pine rosin, natural pine terpenes and pine wood chip using environmentally sustainable and responsible processes. EQ was started in 2016 with a the vision to become a global supplier of sustainable natural pine chemicals.
EQs mission is to enter the supply chain as the go-to provider of rosin and turpentine products. To date EQ has achieved great success in Research and Development (R&D) and development of intellectual property. EQ is a start-up business which has gathered support from Local, Regional and even Federal Government.
Australia has not seen a business like EQ before, the opportunities are endless for the right applicant to growth with the business. About the role: Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be held accountable for the leadership, strategy and success of the organisation. You will be required to run the business effectively bringing a high level of professionalism to the business.
The responsibilities of the role will include (but will not be limited to): Oversee and improve operations, establishing and driving production goals and developing organizational structures. Effective planning and daily business operations management, process control implementation and training. General preparation of information as it relates to the companyâ€™s continual development, performance, and growth plans.
Manage finances, monitoring budgets, expenses, and drive revenue and margin projections. Able to adjust to change and respond accordingly. Continuously looking to improve productivity and reach high levels of operational efficiency .
Provide insight and analysis on production objectives and efficiencies Ambassador of the company Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures, providing resources and training. Oversee employee hiring, training, development, and management, providing guidance to leadership teams. Develop performance and efficiency metrics, identifying areas for improvement and reporting results to executive leadership.
Be confident in areas of accounting, human resources, sales and marketing. Good import and export customs regulations understanding, supply chain and distribution management capabilities.
