Overview of the work area and position: This position provides administrative support to the Cardiology outpatient department by assisting with the management of referrals and the booking and scheduling of appointments, as well as other general administrative duties. Outpatient Services (Ambulatory Care) includes all health services provided without the need for admission to hospital.
A wide range of services are offered in Medicine Ambulatory Care settings including assessment and follow up appointments which allow clients to better manage acute and chronic conditions while reducing the reliance on hospitals. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Desirable: â€¢ Experience with Canberra Health Services internal software packages Prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to: â€¢ Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check. Duties: â€¢ Participate and coordinate administrative duties such as scheduling, booking, billing and medical records within a discreet unit to achieve the provision of a high quality customer focused outpatient service.
