An exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Adviser to join our Commercial & Operations Team within the Gas Markets Business.
This role reports to and supports the Commercial Manager - QLD in the commercial management and administration of the QGP, DDP and associated infrastructure. The role also includes contract administration, analytical support, performance reporting, commercial integration of new assets, customer engagement, negotiation of new contracts, , support for growth projects, optimisation revenues and development of incremental revenue opportunities. In line with this key objective, responsibilities will also include: Administration of customer agreements including amendments for gas transportation, connection, and other services agreements required to meet the needs of existing and new customers across Jemenaâ€™s portfolio of assets in Queensland.
Monitoring and analysis of contract, service utilisation, asset and financial performance; Facilitation of improvements or optimisations of contract, service, asset and financial performance; Coordination of internal and external performance, customer and regulatory reporting; New product development, pricing and implementation for gas transmission assets; Opportunities for account management, negotiation of commercial contracts (typically Identifying and developing new business opportunities, preparing business cases and Board submissions for major capital investments (typically >$10M), To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate the following skills/experience: Degree level qualification in legal, commerce, marketing, engineering, or a related area or able to demonstrate at least 3 years of industry expertise. Competence and experience in financial analysis and management reporting. Astute commercial capabilities including high levels of conceptual, economic and analytical skills.
An ability to successfully engage with and influence internal stakeholders to facilitate outcomes. Ability to effectively liaise with senior management and influence external organisations. Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
Good attention to detail and willingness to actively participate in what is required to get the job done.
